TeaTea Husky

TeaTea is a Husky.

Made 2017/Jan (L), adopted 2006/Nov (R).

Let’s be honest—crafting animal designs can be a tedious process. Without using any pre-drawing software, I had to repeat the build hundreds of times, painstakingly sculpting each brick to capture the perfect figure. Recreating TeaTea’s sitting pose was a true challenge, but the result made it all worth it.

It resonated so well with people—especially children, who gleefully squatted down to pose for photos with TeaTea. Knowing that my creation can bring such smiles is a truly beautiful experience and the ultimate reward for any LEGO MOC builder.

Tea Tea & Cat

Made 2015/Aug (TeaTea), Made 2016/Jan(Cat)

Set against the furniture and warm lighting, they create such a cozy atmosphere. It’s truly delightful to have them on your desk, accompanying you every day.

The cat model is a Skogkatt (Norwegian Forest Cat)—a charming breed known for its beautiful, fluffy fur.

I submitted this creation to LEGO IDEAS, unfortunately, it didn’t pass.

樹堡 Treesburg

Made 2021/Jun.

Welcome to the Ranger’s Home, a castle designed to blend seamlessly with its forest environment. Which expanded 3 times (2013~), from 1x 48′ baseplate to 3×4 32′.

What started as a solitary tower evolved into a fortress with a keep, battlements, and a fortified gate. For me, the building process was like writing a novel, I imagined the backstories and lives of every inhabitant as the house rose. Inspired by the LEGO Forestmen, AoE II (strategic game), Baldur’s Gate (RPG game), Lineage (online game), this castle is a tribute to the fantasy works that shaped my imagination.

Asymmetric layout and uneven heights to create a natural charm rarely seen in standard castle builds.

*Video updated Aug/2025

Step into the heart of the forest to discover Treesburg. It looks messy yet refined. Will re-film once my hardware is upgraded, as there are still so many captivating views and hidden details waiting to be discovered.

遊俠 Ranger

Made 2017/Aug.

One of Treesburg’s character.
An adventure with a wolf and an eagle sounds great

It first time I trying LEGO technic, I’m thoroughly enjoying the brainstorming and love it. Testing and refining the mechanism repeatedly to ensure smooth operation and made structure as simple as possible, I checked a slow motion video to see how dogs walk!

海洋挑戰者號 Ocean Challenger

Made 2014/Jun

Like many old LEGO fans, I have a fondness for the pirate theme.
This vessel base on LEGO set “Queen Anne’s Revenge“, maintaining the original scale and mast structure. Used slightly thicker paper for the sails and thin hemp rope for the rigging. It looks good although are not LEGO parts.

I also chose to place the figurehead on top of the bowsprit rather than beneath it, as it an eagle.

盒子咖啡廳 Box Coffee

Made 2017/Apr.

This creaton made for a Construction Competition 2017 spring, Taiwan.
1F like carton, 2nd floor is south european style. I pretty like the red scarf hanging on the wall and street light, lush lianas and greenery adorning the building.

Stepping inside, you’ll find a space brimming with novelty and charm. Every corner invites exploration—and of course, you’ll be greeted by many feline residents.

Guests are invited to indulge in our selection of coffees and pastries while enjoying the cats’ company (if they’re in the mood). However, please note the upstairs is staff-only.

Sadly, no huskies allowed.

基隆港 Keelung port (TW)

Made 2017/Jul.

It mosaic collage, depicting morning, noon, night at Keelung port. On the left, berthed pilot boat, coast guard vessel. In the center, bulk terminal stands with upright storage tanks. On the right, the dark sea mirrors golden lights of gantry cranes at the container terminal, cruise terminal on the east coast. Featuring the Rubber Duck visit from 2013.

波賽頓的後花園 Poseidon’s garden

Made 2018/Jan.

The sea has always been fascinating and mysterious and Poseidon fall in love.

I’ve collected numerous LEGO Atlantis minifigures, I called it seafood troop, I really like them, Barracuda guardian, Hammerhead warrior, Lobster guardian, Manta warrior, Portal emperor, Shark warrior, Squid warrior. One day, I will build a home for them, a castle nestled on the seabed.

小提琴 Violin

Made 2018/May. (upgrade v.2 2026/Feb)

As a lover of string instruments, the violin was my first choice.

This piece is more than just a model: the back is hollow, can fit a smartphone inside to play music. I’ve recreated all the essential details—the scroll, fingerboard, f-holes, bridge, and tailpiece—along with many decorative elements. And yes, it even features fox ears and a tail.

Then, I have been learning the violin since April 2019.

My universe

Made 2018/Aug

Creating abstract LEGO MOCs is an incredibly fascinating journey.
Every time I finish creation, it always sends question to me: Why does it look like that?

People often ask if I draw drafts before I build. The answer is no. I never use a draft. Instead, I capture an image directly from my mind and attempt to materialize it through LEGO parts. Through a cycle of building and disassembling, the vision becomes clearer and clearer. The final result always surprises me, because I never thought I could make it like that.

You never know where the goal is.

Abstract. It allows the mind to open—there is no logic, no limit, and no rules. I simply immerse myself in the pure joy of the creative process.

Welcome to My universe.

鳥飛船 Bird hot air balloon

Made 2021/May.

A memorial creation built after TeaTea left us, celebrating her departure on a new journey.

A beautiful ship for a beautiful soul, sailing toward a magnificent view.
I will never forget how you enriched my life. You are in my heart, forever and always.

The bird model is “Garrulax leucolophus

小作品 Small works

Blizzard fighter, made 2015/Mar.
Smart phone easel, made 2017/Jun.
Container ship and monster, made 2017/Sep.

墨水港 Ink Harbor

Made 2023/Jan

A bustling oriental trade hub situated at the crossroads of river and sea. It takes its name from its unique, ink-colored waters—a fitting reflection of the city’s shadowy gang rivalries and the murky collusion between politics and business. As a notorious sanctuary for thieves and assassins, Ink Harbor exists within the same world as Treesburg.

Oriental themes may be a niche in the LEGO community, but I’m fascinated by the atmosphere and wanted to challenge myself with this unique style.

墨水港 Ink Harbor extenstionExchange

Made 2023/Nov

The port area is a beehive of activity, with trade and daily business unfolding at every corner. In addition to the trade of grain, fish, and minerals, you’ll definitely find some shady and intriguing transactions going on in the shadows.

I’m particularly in love with the cargo ship—it real cute!

The Exchange building is currently modular. I’m still contemplating exactly where to place it within the port. While the overall landscape is settled, I’m planning to add a pub or hawker street later on, so I’ll wait until those are ready before finalizing the layout.

墨水港 Ink Harbor extenstion II – Post office

Made 2024/Jan

Offers service by sea, land, and air. Air freight is quite expensive, but it’s incredibly fast!

The postal officers here do much more than just deliver mail, they are the backbone of Ink Harbor’s commercial network. Beyond managing the flow of goods, they also moonlight as information brokers, gathering and selling secrets from every corner of the world.

墨水港 Ink Harbor extenstion III – Shore patrol & Tea house

Made 2024/Oct

Shore Patrol (L), defense force of Ink Harbor. I’m really pleased with the watchtower’s design—it breaks away from the typical tower look while still capturing the elegance of Eastern architecture. And the stable is just so adorable, I love it.

Teahouse (R), with its vibrant yellow tones, is a real eye-catcher in the city. I once considered changing it to green to match the surroundings, but that felt a bit too dull. The owner is a D&D Druid figure, which is the perfect choice for someone running a herbal tea shop.

墨水港 Ink Harbor extenstion IV – Market & Arch

Ink harbor scenery (updated – 2026/Feb)

Made 2025/Aug

Originally, I only planned to fill in the remaining coastline, but I got carried away and added a market and a ceremonial arch, I’m thrilled with how the arch turned out.

And the addition of a ‘Seafood’ neighbor adds a great layer of life and detail to the harbor’s edge.

Fascinating photos.
Like the city bathed in the glow of sunset.

墨水港 Ink Harbor view

Screenshot from old ver.2 video.

The Ink Harbor project is officially going on a temporary hiatus. Although structures like the shipyard, hospital, and brewery are still on the drawing board. But as the saying goes: “Art is never finished, only abandoned.”

Compared to Treesburg, which I expanded intermittently over 8 years (is also currently on hold, haha), Ink Harbor developed much faster. It took only four years from its initial concept in July 2021 to reach its current state. Though the water surface accounts for much of its scale, it’s still a significant achievement.

Throughout the entire process—from the architecture and interiors to the city layout and geography—I refused to compromise. I held nothing back, not because I possess masterful skills or endless resources, but because I gave everything I had. I poured every limited part in my collection into this project without reservation, even into the tiny details that might never be seen on social media. This uncompromising spirit is why I can stand by this work with pride—knowing that if I were to die tomorrow, I would have no regrets.

By creating this way, perhaps one day my work could stand alongside the classics in an art museum. And who knows? Perhaps centuries from now, it might even find its place in a history museum as a testament to this era.

About Treesburg & Ink Harbor,

There two different design philosophies: Treesburg was a “terrain-first” project where architecture had to adapt to the mountains and forest. Ink Harbor, however, was “building-first”—the geography was shaped afterward to connect my creations, allowing for much greater creative flexibility.

墨水港 Ink Harbor additional – Bonito temple

Made 2026/Feb

A small local attraction in Ink Harbor. If the fish offered are not to the deity’s liking, they are turned into dried bonito and hung from the trees.

素顏招財貓 bare-faced maneki-neko

Made 2026/Jan

It is a gift of gratitude for the person who taught me, gave me so much, and opened my eyes to a different world.

About creative work

2020/06/26 posted on Facebook

I just finished my first Haruki Murakami’s book (2020/06/26).
The book is titled Novelist as a Vocation, but I believe its concepts apply to all forms of creative work. Even with my limited and modest experience in Lego building and designing stickers, I have to say this book captures the creative journey perfectly. While reading, I found myself laughing and occasionally surprised to realize that some of my own experiences mirror those of a professional—it made me quite happy.

I create because I feel a spark to do something, but the end result always differs from what I initially imagined; it makes me feel like I don’t truly know myself. Similarly, the author begins writing simply because he wants to, then watches to see where the process will take him.

職業としての小説家 (Booking’s photo from Amazon)

Unfortunately, our journey must pause here for a while. I hope you’ve enjoyed the experience so far.
Please bear with me—given a little more time, I will show you the entire universe.
